The dangers of medicine, vitamins and minerals
On the Dutch radio, I heard about the cost reduction in the healthcare. 
An older woman said that the care to recover is really of great importance. She mentioned the big problem of the medical science. She has no knowledge to heal. Consequences are that more and more ill people and illnesses will appear. According to an article in the journal “Algemeen Dagblad”, about an research of TNO. There are 1,6 million rheumatic patients and ten big funds have registered that 21 million people have some kind of disease. That is more than the number of residents in the Netherlands. It means that several residents have more than one disease.

During my study I have noticed that we can help our fellow-man but we cannot cure them. According to the Law of Hippocrates, it is the task of the doctor to help and to heal according to his best knowledge. It is wonderful that we are able to use insulin, thyroid gland hormones but they will not cure. Antibiotics are just as much a medicine as a bullet to shoot an animal who is about to attack a human being, but both can be life saving. Using antibiotics to often, disturbs our natural intestinal bacteria, just as all the wild animals are being killed in nature.


The dangers of medicine
Medicine are no remedies. By using this term, we confuse our fellow-man and hope occurs where this is mistaken. During my time as a physician I saw many side-effects and the dangers of the medicine. They obstruct some kinds of chemical reactions just as the feeling of pain can be obstructed. With a depression for example, this feeling is blocked but not cured. 
It is hard to say which medicine is right to use in case of a depression or other diseases because it is hardly known what happens just as we do not know which chemical reactions take place in the human body. They just dash some medicine and hope it works well. At a certain point I felt more educated as a quack than a real physician.

Regular medicine do help in acute situations but they do not cure for they are poisons. They never make man-kind stronger, even weaker, and can even be fatal if given to much. Mortality by medicine poisoning is fourth on the list and will go up. 
The mortality rate of heart diseases and cancer are still not decreasing (although they pretend otherwise). This is understandable because they are not looking for the cause of the diseases but only for the solutions. This is most lucrative way to make money by the pharmaceutical industry. They will always try to discredit the alternative therapies with help from many physicians and specialists. The pretention that the healing can be reached with medicine, looks like quackery. Quackery is dangerous. Medicine are given to people to lower their cholesterol level and to prevent them from heart and vessel diseases, but the effects are not very clear yet and statistics show that patients die sooner while using these medicines. This is caused by inhibition of co-enzyme Q10, which strengthens the heart. The pharmaceutical industry has been aware of this, a long time ago. (AD magazine 10 Januari 2004).

Another medicine that has been used a lot, is Ritalin, for children with ADHD. This medicine is a drug which is forbidden in the sport because of the big risks attached.

The side-effects of Ritalin are: nervousness – sleeplessness - lack of appetite – anorexia – dizziness – palpitations – headache – increased blood pressure – stomachache – psychosis – paranoid – depression with intoxicating – hallucinations – serious social retirement – lots of crying – explosive outburst – liver poisoning and even liver cancer. Between 1990 and 2000 the American Food and Drug Administration registered 186 death and 569 hospital admittances by diseases which concerned nervous disorders or the brain. It also shows that the effect on long term is nil (Medisch Dossier November 2003) (J.Clin. Psychiatry,1998:59- Curr. Opin Pediatr,2002:14:219-23-J.Am Acad.Child.Adol Psychiatry 2001:40:18-9). They are hardly dealing with the cause, but with a poison they call medicine.

Death by medication: (www.garynull.com =december 2003).
Death by side-effects of medicine occurred in 2001 in America in 106.000 cases. As well in 1995 as in 2003 to much antibiotics were unnecessary given. This also concerns for the Netherlands. The number of death in 2001 are determined as caused by:

  • Side-effects of medication
  • Medical mistakes
  • Decubitus
  • Malnutrition
  • Patients who were not hospitalized
  • Unnecessarily treatment
  • Related to surgery

All this add up is more than the number of death which had a heart disease of cancer. The costs that are involved in America, is $220-300 milliard. In the Netherlands the costs also increases.

THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT KINDS OF MEDICINE

The regular medicine:
These medicine arises from vegetable resources. An example is digitalis. This remedy is original from foxglove. If taken by small amounts it causes palpitation of the heart, irregular heartbeat and stimulates the heart. It will stimulate a weak heart. When the dose is to high, too much stimulation will happen and a heart arrest is the result. The heart cannot be stimulated all the time without admission of the remedies to strengthen the heart like co-enzyme Q10, vitamin E and other nourishment. The same is shown with aspirin. In small doses it causes increase of temperature and with high doses, there is too much stimulation and there for a decrease of the temperature. We use to take aspirin and grog an lay down in bed to heat when we wanted to defeat the flu. Nothing will happen if the body is already exhausted.

Many vegetable remedies have an effect like stimulation, narcotic, sedative and growth inhibitory, but they are no nourishment and they can be rather poisoning. Echinacea stimulates the resistance of the body but if we keep stimulating by giving the remedy, it wears out the body.

Phytotherapy:
This kind of therapy should be done with professional guidance as is shown here above with Echinacea. Many phytotherapeutic remedies are not or hardly poisonous and can be uses as a nourishment, but eating to many apples is not healthy either.

Homeopathy:
Homeopathy is a method where the equal is treated with a similar. The treatment with Ritalin (ADHD) and digitalis (heart diseases) is according this rule. Burns should be wrapped up warm, pain will reduce fast and the cure will be better. By shaking the homeopathic solution, it is made static and result is that you need less. That is why a solution can be diluted. Advantage is that there is less danger of poisoning. Dilution to D12 has a stimulating effect. There after the body will detoxificate or regulate.
For example: if your child had too much milk to drink a rash can appear on the legs. It does not help to stop drinking the milk. The cause might be the phosphor in the milk. By giving a solution in D30 or D200, the rash will disappear by correction of the metabolism in the cell. Disorders of the metabolism is caused by the picked up behavior patterns. These can very well be treated with homeopathy but it will not always work well if one is not conscious of this pattern and change it. That will not be easy but certainly possible if the will is strong enough. If not, the potion has to be taken in now and then.

Vaccinations:
In case of vaccination a weakened or killed virus or bacteria is injected to build up a resistance in advance. This is not according the homeopathic principle., because here the equal is treated with the equal and not with a similar, it is possible to build up a resistance by taking in a flu virus in D12 of D30 oral. The body will think it is infected and produce antibodies. The difference is that the virus or bacteria is hardly present. Hay dust D30 also works well if the body has the right condition to build up the resistance. Louis Pasteur thought that the cause of illness is outside ourselves. Claude Bernard thought otherwise and saw the cause in a reduction of the body’s resistance. That is the reason that vaccinations gives surprises. A lot of virus infections are better to pull through to ensure resistance on long term. Vaccination for measles will not protect for life. Epidemics occur specially with a reduced resistance due to a shortage in nutrition or the admission of nutrition.

Most physicians have no knowledge on the natural processes of the body, the biochemical and the homeopathic method. Still they judge the method and say that what the biochemics concerned, there enough vitamins and minerals in nutrition, despite the convincing prove of the contrary.
I can imagine that there are not a lot of doctors who want to be a physician. They are being confronted with their own incapacity because they never really cure their patients. At least that was my experience and reason to hit another road.

THE DANGERS OF VITAMINS, MINERALS AND AMINO ACIDS

The greatest dangers of vitamins, minerals and amino acids is: a deficiency of it. There is hardly any fear of getting to much. If you drink 50 liter water a day it might kill you.
Very large amounts of vitamin A increases the resistance but with children it can cause acid defects. That is also possible if they do not take in enough vitamin A. 10.000 IE vitamin A is good for the pregnant woman en the child. Brest feeding contains a lot of vitamin A which is good for the resistance of the child.

In nutrition there is a lack of vitamins and minerals. This is shown for example by TNO. Reason enough to use folic acid during pregnancy to prevent for spina bifida with the unborn child. Also vitamin B12 is necessary during the whole pregnancy which is essential for cell division, the increase of the placenta and the child. Do not use milk because it tempers the admission of vitamin B12 and many other very important substances, among which calcium.

As you have noticed, a deficiency is a bigger problem and taking vitamins and minerals is 20.000 times safer than taking medicine. This is much more safe for you but not for the pharmaceutical- and medical industry. When in Israel the physicians were on strike, the funeral undertakers complained about the decrease of mortality (article Algemeen Dagblad).

I switched to treatment with good nutrition, vitamins, minerals and homeopathy because now I really feel like a physician who strengthens his fellow-man. Mostly I cure because I can find the cause of the disease by finding the right homeopathic solution. Or in reverse, when I know the cause, the right homeopathic solution is also known (reed my article about homeopathy, the unscientific method). Therapists who work with vitamins, minerals and homeopathy, often do not know the cause either but they will not poison the fellow-man. They only make them stronger and the regular medical science with their medicine, will not. Many diseases are caused in a decreased resistance and poisonings (for example mercury and medicine).

The causes of a deficiency of vitamins, minerals and amino acids

  1. The serious deficiencies in nutrition. In the Netherlands for example, there is a deficiency of selenium in the ground. Consequences are a big increase of cancer, which is extra stimulated by mercury fillings in the mouth. There are more deficiencies in nutrition like zinc, manganese, chrome, magnesium, vanadium. Usually there is enough calcium but by using milk, cola and other carbonated liquids, we flush it al away.
  2. The respiration: many people have chest breathing instead of abdominal breathing. By aspirating the abdomen should expand because the diaphragm descends. You should look at your diaphragm as your second heart. By sitting straight up every day and do breathing exercises for 30 minutes, you massage your abdomen whereby vitamins and minerals will be absorbed. Also the faeces often will better be shaped.
  3. Candida infection in the intestines: if the intestines are covered with Candida infection, nutrition will be absorbed worse. The cause of a too much of Candida in the abdomen is:
    a) Too much candy what causes a deficiency of a mineral and a danger to develop diabetes.
    b) Birth control pill stimulates Candida and more vaginal secretion. The use of the birth control pill means an increased need of several vitamins and minerals 
    (see further in the article).
    c) Mercury fillings in the mouth causes serious intestinal disorders and Candida in the whole body (see my article on dangers of mercury).
    d. Antibiotics and all other poisonings by medicine.
  4. Milk: drinking milk causes damaging of the abdomen, decreases absorbing many minerals and vitamins. Your resistance will decrease and Candida increases (see my article on milk).

SHORTAGES OF MINERALS AND VITAMINS BY MEDICINE

Antibiotics with the consequences: deficiency on minerals: calcium, ferrum, potassium, magnesium, sodium and zinc.
Shortages on vitamins: vitamin B1, B2, B12, C, A, D and K.
Cholesterol reducing medicine: deficiency on minerals: calcium, magnesium, phosphor.
Deficiency on vitamins: vitamin B12, C, A, D, E and K.
Laxatives: deficiency on minerals, calcium, potassium, sodium and phosphor.
Deficiency on vitamins: vitamin A, D, E and K.
Medicine for high blood pressure: deficiency on minerals: potassium, sodium and phosphor.
Deficiency on vitamins: vitamin B6 and B12.
Birth control pill: deficiency on minerals: calcium, ferrum, copper, magnesium and zinc. 
Deficiency on vitamins: vitamin B1, B2, B6, B12, C, A and E.
Antacids (gastric juice inhibitor): deficiency on minerals: all the minerals who should solve in an acid, are not being absorbed properly. It concerns the minerals calcium, ferrum, magnesium, zinc, selenium, manganese, vanadium, chrome and copper.
Deficiency on vitamins: by restraining the intrinsic factor there is not enough absorption of vitamin B12. 
Deficiency of amino acids: albumen are transferred in the stomach to dipeptides (two amino acids stuck to each other). The acid needs to have a pH of 2, that is very sour. If we do not produce gastric juice anymore, we develop a deficiency of amino acids and albumen. Consequences: fatigue, slimming and oedema in the legs. Diuretics do not work. Usually we do not have too much gastric juice but often a deficiency. The mucus of the stomach consists of a large layer of albumen with sugars (gluco proteins) to protect the mucus for acid. To keep that up, we need the amino acids out of blood and nutrition. This makes us stronger and makes the stomachaches disappear most of the time. Sometimes we need to take in a lot of amino acids to achieve effect but that does not matter because specially the essential (important) amino acids are important for life.

I have mentioned the most used medicine and the deficiencies they might cause but all medicine can cause deficits of vitamins of vitamins and minerals and reduce the functions of the body. By using substances to lower the cholesterol level, a large deficiency will occur from other important substances. According to a research the people who take in the medicine, live less longer than the ones who do not. The deficiencies caused by using antibiotics and birth control pill, causes fatigue and a reduction of the resistance.

SUMMARY DEFICIENCIES ON VITAMINS

In this short summary you will find directions of symptoms which are caused by a deficiency of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Be aware that these three items are depending on each other. They act together. Always use a combined product with all vitamins and minerals plus the extra’s that you need, according to your complaints. Be aware of the beautiful coloured vitamin pills because they contain pigment which might cause allergies.

Deficiency of vitamin A
Symptoms: dry skin and hair - callosity under the feet, specially the heels – fragile nails – acne – fatigue – night-blindness – insomnia – weight loss – sperm deficiency – insufficient growth – infection sensitive – dry mucous membrane – taste loss. Vitamin A can be taken in absolute or as beta-carotene. Beta-carotene contains two types of vitamin A together. Our body divides the beta-carotene into two molecules vitamin A. Always give children vitamin AD droplets. Breastfeeding usually contains a lot of vitamin A (see above). Beta-carotene is in carrots and spinach. It is no problem if you use it a lot but it might color your skin orange.

Vitamin B1: Thiamine deficiency
Symptoms: anorexia – desire for sweet – famine – fatigue – muscle weakness – sensitivity for noise – irritability – nervousness – insomnia – constipation – depression – deaf feeling in hands and feet – hypersensitive for pain – muscular atrophy – forgetfulness – coordination disorders – dyspnoea – oedema of the legs – Beri Beri. In the war in Indonesia there were many skinny people with fat legs because of the Beri Beri. They only ate white rice without vitamin B1. Brown unpeeled rice is better. Vegetables and wholemeal holds vitamin B1 but usually not enough.

Vitamin B2: Riboflavin deficiency
Symptoms: migraine – cracks of the lips – red lips and inflammation of the tongue while the inside of the mouth is smooth. If there are often ulcers in the mouth, the cause might be mercury fillings or/and deficiency of vitamin B12 - swallowing problem – dry throat – scaly nostrils – red and bloodshot eyes – burning and itchy eyes – photo phobia – cataract – blurry sight – hair loss – dizziness – disturbances in the growth with children – rash with dry and/or greasy peeled skin. In case of migraine one should have 3x 100 mgr. vitamin B2 each day, often in combination with magnesium. In nutrition there is vitamin B2 in vegetables 
(eat one pound a day) and fish.

Vitamin B3: Niacin and nicotinamide deficiency
Symptoms: rash with infections and scaly nostrils – pigment disorders – sensitive for sunlight – red tongue – nausea and reduced appetite – diarrhea – bad smell from the mouth (especially when there are mercury fillings) – depression – emotionally unstable – headaches – fatigue – sleeplessness – schizophrenia – forgetfulness – muscle weakness – painful extremities – to high cholesterol level.

Vitamin B3 excists in two ways: niacin and nicotinamide. Taking niacin gives hot flushes and are best to take in after a meal. In case of liver diseases it is better to take in nicotinamide in lower doses. In most combined vitamin pills there is not enough to notice. Because of the strong vascular dilation this is a good product for forgetfulness but my advice is to slowly increase the doses with elder people. In America they give people with schizophrenia 2-3 times 1000 mgr a day. In the sixties there was a research in the Netherlands on the influence of niacin to schizophrenia with very positive results but nothing is being done with it (see article on vitamin D). in combination with zinc, vitamin C, vitamin B, L-lysine, vitamin A and Germanium. Vitamin B3 increases the resistance to infections. There is reasonably doubt whether you need vaccinations anymore by then. The homeopathic way of vaccinations suffice just as well without having side-effects.

Vitamin B5:deficiency panthotenic acid
Symptoms: tingling hands and feet, like ants – nails break and are without gloss – hair loss and grey – networks on the foot sole (specially the inside look like the lines cross) – burning feet – eczema – infections – anorexia with vomiting and nausea – low blood pressure – depression – muscle cramps – sleeplessness – irritability – fatigue – sense of disorder in hands and/or feet – accelerated heart action - ulcers in the stomach – paralysis – ataxie (difficult movements) – hypoglycemia.

It is found in vegetables, meat, chicken, nuts and wheat. Helps when you are tense if a 1000 mgr a day is taken in. in case of burning feet you need 500 mgr a day.

Vitamin B6: pyridoxaal-5-phosphate = pyridoxine HCL deficiency
Symptoms: cannot remember dreams – depression, especially after giving birth with loss of hair – fatigue – nervousness – irritability – sensitive disorders, especially in the hands – carpal tunnel syndrome – electric shock feelings – dry lips – oral mucosal inflammation – bad wound healing – inflammation of the eyes – anemia – growth stagnation – lime nail – arthritis – acne. A typical symptom is not being able to bend the middle phalanxes of the fingers against the palm of the hand.
In combination with deficiencies of zinc and manganese, the so-called HPU syndrome may occur (disorder of women where hemopyrrolactam-complex is found in the urine. Literature by KEAC in Weert, the Netherlands, tel. 0031-495-451428). This is combined with chronic fatigue with skin rash, arthritis, headache, sleep disorders, depression, allergy, overweight and many other complaints. Pyridoxaal-5-phosphate is produced in the body from pyridoxine HCL. This last medicine is very cheap and when it is used to long, it does not benefit the body. Pyridoxaal-5 works better and is good for our body, but it is much more expensive. 
Cheap vitamins often contain pyridoxine HCL.

Vitamin B9: folic acid deficiency
Symptoms: anemia – pale color – fatigue – muscle weakness – reduced sensitivity – neuropathy – forgetfulness – headaches – apathy – reduced reflexes, especially the Achilles tendon – birth handicaps – spontaneous abortions – growth disorders – restless legs – depression – schizophrenia – paranoid – feels oppressed – loss of hair – dermatitis – intestinal disorders – diarrhea – constipation – glossitis (inflammation of the tongue).

Folic acid is very important for the cell division and that means the whole pregnancy time, not only the beginning. During pregnancy it is never too late to start. However, it is most important to use vitamin B12 as well. If you are going to use tablets, you have to use high doses. Otherwise it has to be given in by injections (2000 mcg/week). If you don’t, there is a big chance that you do not get pregnant at all or have a miscarriage (see article on sterility). With older age, everyone should use both for resistance, fast healing of wounds, decubitus and the memory. Both vitamins cooperate with many minerals and are very important to reduce dementia. Remember that milk prevents the absorption of minerals and vitamin B12.

Vitamin B12: hydrocobalamin = cyanocobalamin deficiency
Symptoms: anemia – blue red smooth and painful tongue – ulcers in the mouth and intestinal – ulcers in the vagina with women – Behςet’s syndrome – intestinal disorders – fatigue – headaches – depressions – palpations – psychosis – neurologic disorders like abnormal reflexes, the feeling to walk on felt, which means a numb feeling of the foot sole - irritation – irritation – asthma – infertility – abortion – premature birth.

In the stomach a hormone is produced, the intrinsic factor, which takes care of the absorption from B12 in the intestines. This hormone is reduced if the stomach is removed or if too much milk is used or when we get older. Certain diseases can assault the stomach such that there is no acid anymore. The problem is that amino acids are not being divided anymore and a deficiency of amino acids will occur.

Vitamin C: ascorbine acid deficiency
Symptoms: hematomas – bleeding gums – sensitive for inflammations – catching colds very fast – flu-sensitive – feelings of oppression – arthritis – loose teeth – fatigue – discomfort – obtuse behavior – depression.

Vitamin C can be combined with magnesium and/or calcium. Ascorbic acid can cause diarrhea if taken in large amounts. That is why it is wise to increase the dose gradually until the faeces get softer. This will be the maximum dose. Vitamin C is good for heart, vessels resistance en to prevent cancer. In fruit there is not enough vitamin C because they pick it to early.

Vitamin D: calciferol deficiency
Symptoms: cramps - curved legs - getting fractures fast – osteoporosis – short-sighted – burning feeling in mouth and throat – diarrhea – nervousness – sleeplessness – chilblain.

In case of osteoporosis the blood needs to be checked if it contains enough vitamin D. this is often forgotten. Often there is a clear relation, especially people with a dark skin color in the Netherlands, to osteoporosis, because they need more sunlight then white people, who by the way also need sun. vitamin D needs boron and manganese to optimize the impact (see article on osteoporosis).

Vitamin E: alpha-tocopherol deficiency
Symptoms: heart- and vessel diseases – anemia – liver diseases – muscle weakness, also from the heart – cataract – diseases of the retina – disturbed lobby – weak intestinal muscles – bad healing of wounds – infertility – fatigue.

Combined with vitamin C, L-lysine, unsaturated fat acids and vitamin B complex, it is very good for your heart and vessels.

OMEGA-3-FATTY-ACIDS AND OMEGA-6-FATTY-ACIDS
Omega-6-fatty-acids are being transferred into substances which are dilating the vessels and increases the resistance. The transformation is done by zinc, vitamin B6, B3, C, magnesium and insulin. Omega-6-fatty-acids is found in olive oil and sunflower oil. This usually is being used enough. The omega-3-fatty-acids is found in fish and linseed oil. These two kinds of fatty-acids should be in balance. One too much of both is not good.

Symptoms of an omega-6-fatty-acid deficiency
Eczema – acne – pale grey impure skin – hair loss – high cholesterol level – asthma – sensitive for infections – sterility – gallstones – heart- and vessel diseases, delay in growth – behavior disorders.

Symptoms of an omega-3-fatty-acid deficiency
Arthritis – behavior disorders – learning disorder – delay in growth – psoriasis – reduced resistance.

By taking in a lot of omega-3-fatty-acids, a lot of the symptoms can be reduced but is has to be taken in in combination with vitamins and minerals.

Para-amino-benzoic-acid: paba deficiency
Symptoms: sun allergy – grey hair – dry skin. 500 mgr para-amino-benzoic-acid a day often has a good effect on sun allergy.

There are a lot of other vitamins that might give symptoms. I have only described the most important ones.

SUMMARY MINERAL DEFICIENCIES

Calcium deficiency
Symptoms: osteoporosis – muscle weakness - muscle cramp, specially the calves – cramp in the vessels which causes hypertension – allergy because the manure cells break down – hyperactivity – sleeplessness – fears.

With osteoporosis calcium is less important. It is no use to administer extra calcium. Vitamin D, boron, manganese, magnesium and many other vitamins do play a part in this.

Magnesium deficiency
Symptoms: in the beginning muscle weakness – no appetite – diarrhea – fatigue – nausea and vomiting – irritation. Later on: muscle cramps – cardiac arrhythmia – heart attacks – hallucinations – tremors – tension – high blood pressure.

Too much calcium can cause a magnesium deficiency. By administering extra magnesium, the calcium will be decreased. It is better to administer magnesium, instead of a calcium antagonist.

Zink deficiency
Symptoms: no appetite – anorexia – growth inhibition of the child – eczema – open wound on legs (ulcers) – psoriasis – sterility – reduced resistance – prostate problems – arthritis – matt hair and loss of hair – white spots under the nails – restless legs at night – bad healing of wounds.

Zinc is very important for child and adult and works regulating on the sugar metabolism. If there is a deficiency for zinc, magnesium, manganese, chrome and vanadium. There is a danger to develop diabetes.

Manganese deficiency
